Whales and the Northern Lights in Lyngen, October 31, 2026–November 7, 2026
Chasing the Giants:An Arctic Sailing Expedition
November in northern Norway is a time of extraordinary natural phenomena. Thousands of humpback whales and orcas swim into the icy Arctic fjords in pursuit of herring. At the same moment, the sun dips below the horizon, marking the beginning of the polar night, and the sky above the masts glows with the emerald light of the Northern Lights.
We’re not inviting you on just another sightseeing tour. We’re inviting you on a real sea expedition.

What can you expect on board?
1. Close encounters with sea giants
Thanks to the yacht’s maneuverability and precise navigation in the Skjervøy area, we’ll be operating right in the heart of the feeding grounds of orcas and humpback whales. You’ll hear the whales’ breath hitting the yacht’s hull and see pods of orcas hunting in the crystal-clear waters of the fjords.
2. The Spectacle of the Polar Night and the Aurora
The absence of light pollution at sea creates ideal conditions for photographing and observing the Northern Lights. As soon as the sky darkens, we’ll watch the dancing northern lights from the deck of a yacht or a wild beach.
3. Authentic, rugged sailing
You’ll experience the magic of life on a yacht in polar conditions. This expedition is for people seeking character, authenticity, and camaraderie within an intimate group of six. You’ll become part of the crew.
