Ski cruises in Norway. The Lyngen Peninsula is located above the Arctic Circle at latitudes 69°N and 70°N. It features fantastic scenery with glaciers nestled between vertical, snow-covered peaks reaching 1,800 meters. From March through early May, conditions and access are consistent. Excellent snow cover and quality are guaranteed by the northern latitudes and mild climate. The Lyngen Alps and the numerous surrounding islands, combined with the convenience of traveling by yacht, offer a selection of over 160 ski touring routes of varying difficulty, ensuring a great skiing experience for all skill levels.

After your transfer from Tromsø Airport, we’ll welcome you on board so you can settle in comfortably, meet the crew and get to know the yacht, check the equipment, and go through a safety briefing. On the first evening, we’ll sail north through Grøtsund toward Ullsfjord, Sorfjord, and Lyngenfjord—a beautiful area for 6–8 hours of sailing through the fjords—before arriving at the base of our first campsite. Ski touring hikes will reach 1,800 m, with ascents ranging from 4 to 9 km, taking 4 to 8 hours. Slope gradients are generally below 25–30 degrees. Sailing time between different locations will range from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the chosen ski area and weather conditions.

A professional skipper and guide, thanks to his experience in the Lyngen Alps, has detailed knowledge of local sailing, weather, and snow conditions, as well as the best routes. His extensive knowledge will allow us to choose the most enjoyable spots in safe locations.
