2. Do things dry on the yacht?
Of course, after our trips we may come back with wet clothes or gear. Everything dries without any problem.
3. Is there enough space for everything on the yacht?
Obviously, it’s not a villa with a swimming pool — or maybe it is 😉 A crew of 9 people, along with their belongings, equipment, and food, fits comfortably. Ski touring equipment is stored in a special compartment in the bow. Each cabin has storage space for luggage and clothes, and the common area also has plenty of storage nooks.
4. Does the yacht rock a lot?
We can definitely say that the yacht will rock. Sometimes it’s actually pleasant and even soothing enough to help you sleep, but at times it can be less comfortable. You have to remember that we are sailing on open water, and despite being sheltered by mountains, there are still waves and wind. When planning passages between marinas, we always check the forecast and plan the route accordingly.
5. Will I be able to handle seasickness?
We cannot guarantee it 100%, as it depends on how severe it is in your case.
Sailing on open water is part of the trip, so it’s something to keep in mind. Our goal is to ensure every passage is planned in safe and comfortable conditions. Of course, there have been situations where someone’s meal wanted to “see daylight again,” but everything always ended well and everyone was left with amazing memories.
6. Is there anything to do besides staying on the boat?
The marinas in the towns vary from place to place. In some locations you may find a shop, restaurant, bar, or sauna available for an additional fee.
7. Will I see the Northern Lights?
The Northern Lights in Norway appear from September to March, and the farther north you go, the longer the season lasts. However, it is a natural phenomenon beyond our control — but we believe you won’t be disappointed! We certainly haven’t been disappointed even once, as our gallery also shows.
